WHAT
takes place at a Toastmasters Speak E-Z Meeting? Being
part of the Toastmasters International organization, just like any

sharing the responsibility of different roles during a meeting.
Roles are assigned ahead of time and range from being that week's
Jokemaster (where you share a funny story or joke to the group to
lighten things up) or you may be called upon to be an Evaluator (Every
speaker has an Evaluator to give them a critique and feedback on their
strengths and areas for improvement!).
During the meeting we have several key
activities that we usually go through:
- Welcome, greetings and Pledge of Alligence
- Review of Roles and Responsibilities
- Tabletopics - Short 2 minute impromtu speeches to get
you to think on your feet!
- Speeches - Usually 3-4 members will have prepared a
5-7 minute speech based on their place in the Basic or Advanced
Communications manual.
- Evaluations / Coaches reports - Feedback for the
speakers and on meeting overview
- Upcoming events - Current club and district
activities such as meetings, speech contests, speech crafts and more!
